Activities from Saturday, July 5
The team went to a service on Saturday morning where approximately 200 people attended. This is one of the places they had been to last year. The Kenyans were able to pick out the four team members who had been there last year, were able to recall what they had taught, and even remembered their names. The students were amazed at the impact that is made on these mission trips and the life-changing experiences that happen. The school students danced and sang for the team; it was amazing! Aaron gave his testimony along with the altar call, and did a fabulous job. There was a youth rally with about 200 students. They had 3-legged races, and played soccer and volleyball. The team gave soccer balls and volleyballs to the schools represented, the pastors received backpacks, and each student received a beanie baby. Prayers of praise--Courtney is feeling much better; the LIA team has done a great job making sure all the details of the trip have been taking care of; all are healthy; many, many have accepted Christ.
